Understanding Gambling Risks
Gambling involves financial risks. Play responsibly and only spend what you can afford to lose. Losing is a normal outcome of these games. Nothing on this website promises a win.
Minimum Age
You must be 18 or older. The age gate is a confirmation, not identity verification. A date of birth is checked again at registration, and a document can be uploaded for review.
Recognizing Problem Gambling
Signs that gambling is causing harm include chasing losses, hiding play, spending money needed for bills, or feeling unable to stop. If that describes you, use a time-out or self-exclusion and contact one of the organizations below.
Deposit Limits
Daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits are amounts in Canadian dollars. A lower limit applies immediately. A higher limit waits 24 hours. A deposit above the remaining room is refused, and the balance does not change.
Loss Limits
A loss limit is a Canadian-dollar cap based on recorded losing game results. When the recorded losses reach the limit, a further deposit is refused. No game is connected, so no loss is being recorded today.
Session Limits
A session limit is a number of minutes from sign-in. When the time is reached, the account is signed out.
Reality Checks
A reality check is a reminder after a number of minutes. The reminder shows the ledger balance and offers to continue or sign out.
Cooling-Off Periods
A time-out lasts 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a time-out the account is signed out, sign-in is refused, and deposits are blocked.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion can be set for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or with no end date. The account is signed out, and the same email address cannot be used to open another account while the exclusion is active. This website does not send the exclusion to a provincial register, because no register endpoint is connected.
Account Restrictions
Real-money play is closed for every account until a location provider confirms Alberta and a game API is connected. Real-money casino games are available only to eligible players physically located in Alberta. An unverified account stays Unverified. Uploading a document sets Pending. This website does not set Verified.
